Shapes and Shadows-A study of Cowboys and their Hats with Shelly HackettA hat and face in shadow
Saturday & Sunday | January 23 & 24, 2027 | 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Over the course of this two-day workshop, you will study the cowboy, concentrating on the shape of the hat and face in shadow. then slowly start incorporating the upper body, arms and hands. The class will begin by working in charcoal sketches and finish with an impressionistic style painting, exploring color, value and light with loose brush stokes.
