About this Event
Come and help us grow a wild space where nature and people can flourish together.
We’re beginning to bring the Rewilding Kinkell Community Makers Forest to life – a place to connect with nature and each other, learn, create and play.
11am–1pm | Clearing Space on the Land
We’ll work together to manage some of the brambles, creating space for greater biodiversity while keeping what nature – and future makers – can use.
1pm–3pm | Clearing Space for Ourselves
Then we’ll swap tools for tea and poetry. Through nature, metaphor and poetry, we’ll explore what we might want to clear, keep or make space for in our own lives, with conversation, reflection and a creative session.
Two hours giving something to the land. Two hours receiving something in return.
No experience is needed and everyone is welcome. Refreshments will be provided. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear, and bring water, gloves and enthusiasm.
Come curious. Come as you are. Let’s see what we can grow together.
