This November, The Barnsdale plays host to its own Christmas Market, three days given over to local makers, thoughtful gifts, and the kind of seasonal indulgence that makes a Rutland weekend feel like the beginning of Christmas itself.Hotel guests and visitors are invited to wander between stalls dressed for the occasion, warm your hands around something mulled, and find gifts with a story behind them, the sort that don't come wrapped in cellophane from a shopping centre.
