About this Event
We are launching a new Charity Chairs Forum for both voluteer run & led charities and for those employing staff.
The Forum will be a relaxed, supportive space for Chairs to connect, share experiences, and talk openly about the challenges that come with the role. It’s about learning from each other, swapping practical ideas, and building a network of fellow Chairs who can offer insight, support, and encouragement.
This forum is being set up in response to the growing pressures many Boards and Chairs are facing, from increased demand for services and financial uncertainty to recruitment challenges and heavier governance responsibilities. The role of Chair can often feel demanding and, at times, isolating.
The Forum will be led by Wayne Bulpitt (AGC Chair). The session will be shaped by those taking part, focusing on the topics and formats that will be most helpful in supporting Chairs and strengthening Board leadership.
A buffet lunch will be provided.
