Digital Assets & Trustees: Navigating a Changing Landscape
At this GAT Members’ Lunch & Insights event, Peter Left, Head of Digital and Market Innovation at Lloyds Banking Group, will explore the growing relevance of digital assets to the fiduciary industry and what trustees need to understand as these technologies become increasingly established.
The session will consider developments including tokenised assets, stablecoins and digital currencies, with a particular focus on their implications for trustees, trust structures and the assets they may increasingly encounter. Peter will explore the practical opportunities and challenges presented by digital assets, alongside key considerations around governance, risk, regulation and trustee responsibilities.
Helen Gains of the Guernsey Registry, will also provide an industry update.
