What is chair dancing?
Run by a professional dancer and personal trainer, chair dancing is exactly what it sounds like — guided dance movements performed while seated and set to great music from across the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's.
This 45-minute class is suitable for all abilities, including those who prefer low-impact movement or feel more comfortable staying seated, as well as those who prefer to stand and dance. There’s no pressure to keep up and no dance experience needed — you are encouraged to move at your own pace and enjoy the experience.
Beyond the physical benefits, chair dancing is also about connection. It’s a chance to share a laugh, enjoy music together and feel part of a supportive community space where everyone is welcome.
