John Moody August 9, 1951 - October 13, 2026John Moody, a long time loyal member (and character) of the Bend karaoke community, has passed away. If you’ve spent any time at all at Bend karaoke shows, you'll know John Moody. He started off my karaoke shows for years. He sang with Rockin' Robin for many years at many different venues. He was a beloved member of the Bend karaoke community and loved to sing and interact with other singers and audience members.
John proudly served his country during the Viet Nam War in both the US Army and the US Navy. He was a proud husband, father, grandfather and Bend community member.
A celebration of John's life will be held on Saturday, October 31 from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Bridge 99 Brewery in Bend. The event is hosted by DJ Jackie J (A Fine Note Karaoke Too!) and Rockin' Robin. Admission is free and everyone is welcome. There is a wonderful menu and a full bar on premises. Come out, have some lunch, pay your respects, and even sing a song or two.
John, rest in peace. You will be missed by your karaoke family.
