Celebrate Halloween with an afternoon of family-friendly fun! Bring your trick-or-treaters downtown to visit decorated trunks and tables, collect candy, and enjoy Halloween with the community.
Nachos will be served at Witty Park from 4–6 PM.
🏆 Trunk and table decorating contest—winners receive a prize!
COSTUME PARADE
Check-in, same-day registration, 3 PM. The parade line up at 3:30 PM, traveling from the Elgin Opera House to the Elgin Trail Stop. Parade winners will be announced around 5 PM.
TRUNK & TABLE PARTICIPANTS
Setup begins at 3 PM and must be completed before 4 PM. Please do not hand out candy before 4 PM. Keep costumes and decorations family-friendly.
KEEP THE FUN GOING
Visit the school carnival at the Stella Mayfield Elementary School gym from 6–7:30 PM, or continue neighborhood trick-or-treating after 6 PM using the participating-home map/list.
OCTOBER REMINDERS
• Parade preregistration closes October 30th.
• Trick or treat map sign up closes October 28th.
