About this Event
The Sunday scaries don't stand a chance against a lapful of Cavachon puppy.
Welcome to Cavachon Puppy Yoga by Yoga Kawa in Toronto. This is an hour of gentle, beginner-friendly yoga shared with a small group of Cavachon puppies who have absolutely no interest in your to-do list and every interest in sitting on your face during downward dog.
Cavachons are a cross between Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and Bichon Frises, which means they inherited the silky, cloud-soft coat of one and the cheerful, bouncy personality of the other. They are small, fluffy, and completely convinced that every human in the room is their person.
Here's how the hour breaks down:
- 35 minutes of easy, beginner-friendly yoga
- 20 minutes of connection and cuddle time
- 5 minutes of sharing circle
Why people keep coming back
Puppy yoga in Toronto does something a regular yoga class cannot. A puppy wanders over, settles against your leg, and your nervous system just... exhales. On a Sunday morning, when the week ahead is already pressing in, that kind of reset is worth a lot.
A note on Cavachon puppies
Cavachons are gentle, affectionate, and deeply social. They tend to be curious without being overwhelming, which makes them wonderful yoga companions. Expect soft fur, warm weight, and a puppy who will look up at you like you are the most important person they have ever met. They are also surprisingly calm for puppies, right up until they decide it is time to zoom, and then all bets are off.
Families and kids
This class is family friendly. Kids ages 5 and up are welcome. Anyone under 18 must attend with a parent or guardian who also participates and helps the child move gently and handle the puppies with care.
Mats provided. No experience needed. Just show up, breathe, and let a Cavachon remind you that Sundays are actually pretty good.
