Canadian Missions Society

Attending the Canadian Missions Society Conference would be a meaningful opportunity to grow in faith, build genuine connections, and be encouraged by a community united through hope, compassion, and service.

We believe that coming together with people from different backgrounds and experiences creates space for learning, understanding, and inspiring one another to make a positive difference.

Through worship, thoughtful discussions, and shared stories, we hope to give fresh perspectives and practical ways to serve our community with kindness, humility, and purpose. More than anything, We want to leave feeling renewed, encouraged, and reminded that every act of love, generosity, and compassion—no matter how small—can have a lasting impact. We believe this experience will strengthen my commitment to uplifting others and sharing hope wherever life leads, while continuing to grow alongside those who seek to make the world a better place.

As an exhibitor at the Canadian Missions Society Conference, you'll have the opportunity to connect with an engaged audience that has come with purpose—to learn, discover, and build meaningful relationships.

Throughout the conference, attendees intentionally visit the Exhibit Hall between keynote sessions and breakout discussions, giving your organization valuable face-to-face opportunities to share your mission, resources, and impact.

Whether you're a ministry, nonprofit, educational institution, business, or community organization, your voice matters. Conference participants are looking for trusted partners, fresh ideas, and practical ways to make a difference in their communities and beyond. By exhibiting, you'll do more than showcase what you do—you'll spark conversations, build lasting connections, and inspire people to take meaningful action. Join a diverse community committed to hope, service, and positive change, and let your message reach people who are ready to listen, engage, and be part of something bigger than themselves.

Welcome to the Canadian Missions Society Conference 2026.

War, financial stress, natural disasters, and all the uncertainty in the world have left a lot of people feeling shaken and unsure of where to turn. But Scripture reminds us that hope isn’t just a feeling — it’s something solid we can hold onto, an anchor that keeps us steady (Hebrews 6:19).

Speaker: Hans Ostrem - One Life. One Gospel. One Mission

Hans served for many years as a medical missionary in North Africa and the Middle East, using his background as a paediatric emergency medicine physician. During that time, he worked in remote and vulnerable communities, seeking to bring compassionate and sustainable healthcare. He later returned to North America to serve as a Vice President with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, where he helped expand a worldwide ministry that uses sport as a platform for evangelism and discipleship. Hans currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Medical Ministry International (MMI.org), an organization that sends short-term teams to serve alongside local in-country leaders, provide healthcare, and strengthen sustainable evangelistic and health initiatives around the world. Hans and his wife, Brandy, live in Mississauga with their four children.
