I’m running for School Trustee because I believe strong schools are built through relationships, transparency, accountability; and genuine collaboration between students, families, staff, district leadership and our community.
As a parent who has spent more than 15 years navigating our school system, and through my professional experience leading in social services, I know how important it is for people to feel heard, supported and included in the decisions that affect them.
My priorities include:
* 🎓 Student success — ensuring students have the opportunities and supports they need to learn, grow and thrive.
* ❤️ Safe and supportive schools — creating environments where both students and staff feel safe psychologically and physically, respected and supported.
* 💬 Stronger communication & transparency — families and staff deserve clear, timely communication and meaningful opportunities to be heard.
* 🤝 Accountability & collaborative problem-solving — addressing challenges proactively, working together and following through on commitments.
This event is an opportunity to come say hello, ask questions, tell me what matters to you, and have some fun with the kids while we’re at it!
