About the eventThe darker part of the year is upon us, and with it the invitation to slow down and venture within. Away from the buzz and noise of the world around, and instead, the invitation to listen to the quiet whisper of inner knowing. The creative force that is gathering force to awaken and take form.
This gathering is an invitation to settle into a moment of kind introspection, connecting to the voice within, letting it take physical form and finding ways to connect with others to co-create and collaborate.
✨A Quiet Moment to Listen
Let's slow down together. Take some mindful breaths. Feel our body. Hear the hearbeat. Taste the deliciousness of cacao (and life). And from this place of centred-awareness, let's create.
✨Our Journey Together
Over three hours, we move through practices designed to quieten and centre the mind, feel and restore the body, open the heart, and allow creativity to flow.
🤎 We open with ceremonial cacao - a heart-softening medicine that invites presence, warmth, and a quiet opening to creativity and connection.
🍂 From there, intuitive movement guided by music tends to the body from the inside - tending to the tension that tends to creep in with cold temperatures.
🌙 Meditation and stillness offer a path within - a moment to pause inside the fullness, rather than push through it.
🎨 And then, collage. Not as an art form. Not for a result. But as a way of communicating with our inner child that likes to play and create. Through analog collage, we will listen to a part of ourselves asking for attention and give it a visual form. Not by trying to make something beautiful or meaningful, but by following images, colours, textures and words intuitively, allowing what is within us to take shape. We will dive into sensations through pictures, connecting with that part of you that needs to be heard.
