About this Event
Building Your Resource Kit is a hands-on wellness series consisting of two 90-minute workshops designed to help participants explore sensory-based coping tools that may support grounding, emotional regulation, relaxation, and overall well-being.
Each workshop combines sensory awareness, creative activities, and guided reflection to help participants develop practical tools for navigating stress and supporting everyday wellness.
Learning Objectives
By the end of each workshop, participants will be able to:
- Explore personal sensory preferences and identify how sensory experiences or environmental conditions may influence their feelings, attention, and sense of grounding.
- Create personalized sensory tools and identify at least one way to incorporate them into everyday wellness routines or moments of stress.
Participants are encouraged to attend both workshops to build a more comprehensive Resource Kit. Each workshop offers take-home tools and strategies, so participants can benefit from attending either session individually or both as part of the series.
Activities are designed to support different sensory preferences and access needs. Participants are welcome to adapt activities, use alternative materials, observe, or opt out of any exercise.
