About this Event
The final morning of the Brazen Summit explores where creativity, culture and technology meet. It brings together artists, producers, designers, technologists and cultural leaders to examine why creativity matters to every organisation and how the next generation of audience experiences is being made.
Margaret Heffernan, author, former CEO and Thinkers50 Hall of Fame inductee, opens with a keynote making the case that creativity is essential, not optional, for organisations navigating uncertainty. A panel with artist and composer Beatie Wolfe, Adem Holness, Head of Music at SXSW London, and creative technologist Robin Thorn of Thawney and Beat Blocks then looks at how spatial audio is changing the way audiences experience music.
Attendees will also hear from the people behind some of the UK's most ambitious immersive experiences. Ottilie Culloty of drone show company Celestial and Graham MacVoy, co-founder of Wake The Tiger, discuss designing and scaling experiences for hundreds of thousands of visitors. Nick Eagleton, Andy Boreham and Rosa ter Kuile, the team behind the Bristol Beacon rebrand, then talk about creating a handmade, live identity for the venue, and what makers can learn from keeping the human touch in a digital world.
The programme closes with the team behind Blue Planet III, who share how low-light cameras, immersive formats and creative thinking are taking audiences inside the animals' worlds, and what that means for Bristol as the home of wildlife storytelling.
Between sessions, attendees can meet practitioners from across music, live events, design, film and the wider creative industries, making the morning an ideal opportunity to find collaborators and new ideas.
Who should attend: creative and cultural leaders, artists, producers, music and live events professionals, marketers and founders in the creative industries.
The Summit runs each weekday morning from Monday 9 to Friday 13 November as part of Brazen, Bristol's festival of technology, creativity and culture. Sessions begin at 09:30. If you'd like to book a week pass follow this link https://techspark.co/brazen/passes/
