Welcome to Boro Embroidery Social
Join us for a beginner-friendly workshop inspired by Japanese Boro textiles, traditionally created through layers of patching and repair.
You’ll choose fabric scraps, arrange colours and textures, and bring them together with simple running stitches to create your own textile artwork.
Never threaded a needle? We’ll help you get started. Already enjoy sewing? Come and experiment with a different approach.
With just 10 places, there’s room to ask questions, chat and settle into your project. Come alone or bring a friend.
Your Sunday Morning
We’ll meet at KC Peaches on Nassau Street, Dublin 2, around a table filled with fabrics, needles and thread.
Choose your materials, get comfortable, and follow our step-by-step guidance. Spend the next two hours stitching, chatting and watching your design take shape. Every piece will look different—that’s part of the fun.
