This in-person event brings together experienced professionals for a day of informative talks and practical demonstrations. Whether you're an equestrian professional, therapist, instructor, student or simply interested in learning more about equine assisted services, this event offers an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and explore different approaches to working with horses.
Therapeutic Riding & Equine Assisted Activities with Terri Brosnan
Explore how the horse's three-dimensional movement can help regulate riders, supporting their ability to learn and develop new skills.
This session will also look at ground-based equine assisted activities and how interactions with horses can support physical, emotional and social wellbeing.
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Demonstration with Nichole Murray and Linda Bolger
Discover how horses can play an important role in psychotherapy through a practical demonstration of the EAGALA Model.
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy is a ground-based approach involving a mental health professional and an equine specialist. Horses are free to behave naturally and make their own choices, becoming active members of the therapeutic team.
Building a Better Mindset with Dermot Murphy
BHS Coach and Master's Degree in Psychotherapy
Dermot brings extensive experience and knowledge from the equine industry, both teaching and competing. This talk will explore the importance of mindset and mental wellbeing within the equestrian world.
