About this Event

Drawing on his book , Frankie J. Weinberg shows how mentees can take an active role in their development by bringing real challenges and opportunities to the conversation. Mentors offer perspective and guidance; together, both people shape the relationship.

Through storytelling and guided practice, participants will explore the ACE framework—Align, Collaborate, Evolve—and seven practical tips for strengthening mentee agency. They’ll practice clarifying learning goals, sharing expectations, putting advice into action, and adapting the partnership as their needs change. Each participant will leave with a practical plan for a more purposeful mentoring conversation.

Frankie J. Weinberg is a globally recognized leadership scholar, Distinguished Professor of Management at Loyola University New Orleans, Founder and Principal Consultant at Leading Consultation International, and owner of two thriving restaurants in New Orleans: Pomelo and Good Catch.
