Inspiring Body of Christ Church (IBOC) invites the community to celebrate its 36th anniversary at the annual BOCtober Festival, a two-day carnival-style celebration Saturday, Oct. 17, and Sunday, Oct. 18, at IBOC Church in Dallas.
Designed to bring the excitement of a midway carnival to the community, BOCtober will feature 12 rides, including a 68-foot Ferris wheel, carnival games where everyone wins a prize, specialty fair foods and activities for all ages. The festival will also feature the Consideration Station, a designated area created for individuals with disabilities to participate in a safer, more comfortable environment suited to their individual needs. Saturday evening will include BOCtober Lights, featuring special lighting for a festive nighttime carnival experience.
BOCtober takes place from 4 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, at IBOC Church, 7701 S. Westmoreland Road in Dallas.
Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for children and includes unlimited rides and one complimentary meal featuring a hot dog or corn dog, chips and a drink.
Specialty food items will also be available for purchase while supplies last.
