Show your love and appreciation for animals, pets and all creatures, by joining us for the Annual Blessing of the Animals ceremony. At this unique celebration, people and animals come together to acknowledge our relationship and those who care, volunteer and support the betterment of all creatures great and small.
All pets are welcome – dogs, llamas, horses, guanacos and donkeys on leads, cats in carriers, or birds and other small critters in cages/carriers too.
There is an opportunity to light a candle in remembrance of animals that have passed, to acknowledge and cherish their memories.
This is also to mark World Animal Day!
This event is free and open to everyone, and all ages.
Please note: There will be a lot of animals, people and noise at this blessing. If your animal is not comfortable in this type of situation you may decide it is best to leave them at home. Instead, please bring a photo of your pet to have blessed instead.
