About this Event
Once again The Empress Walk is featuring a riveting black docufilm for Black Night Out - A Dinner & Movie event at The Caribbean Queen Banquet Hall & Event Centre in Toronto!
For Men's Health Awareness Month in November, otherwise known as Movember, we are fearturing "A Man's Cry" produced by Darue The Rue of AMPTV. The episode delves deep into the psyche of black men and how they process their emotions and the social pressures of living in this day and age.
Along with great Jamaican buffet-style food, there will also be engaging activities and discussion about fathers and sons, expecially in light of black boys and autism. We will discuss how men feel about vulnerability and fatherhood alongside their thoughts about the future generation.
You don't want to miss this event! Early bird prices available ($25pp before Sept 30, 2026 - Reg Price $35pp). This event is a fundraiser for The Empress Walk in its efforts to build a black autism hub and sensory space facility in Toronto.
