About this Event
Black & Irish is hosting the inaugural Black European Summit; a one-day, high-impact hybrid gathering during Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The Summit will bring together Black and other racialised communities, ethnic minority organisations, allies, and anti-racism advocates from across Ireland and the EU to connect, reflect, and shape collective action.
This event will create a space to critically examine the lived experiences of racialised people in Europe, explore justice, representatiion and youth engagement, and what we need to do as a collective to improve the lives of black people in Ireland and the EU.
There will be keynote address, expert panels and breakout sessions, with the goal of developing concrete recommendations for EU and Member State policymakers.
Registration is required and limited tickets available!
This event is delivered with the support of the 2026 Communicating Europe Intiative by Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade, Goodbody and AIB.
