About this Event
We invite you to join us for an engaging introduction to Black & White photography with Michelle Cornejo, MFA.
In the first half of this 2-hour workshop, we will discuss 7 elements that comprise a compelling black & white image, including tonal translation, emotional depth, and more. You’ll learn what separates a strong color image from a strong black & white image, the best applications for black & white photography, as well as various post-production techniques to convert your images from color to black & white.
The second half of the Workshop will consist of a photo walk in Historic Ybor City, followed by a photo review and Q&A. Whether you shoot with a mirrorless camera, a film camera, or an iPhone, this workshop is perfect for you if you’ve been wanting to delve into the magical world of black & white photography!
