About BERDO:
Boston's Building Emissions Reduction and Disclosure Ordinance (BERDO) requires large buildings in the City of Boston to report and progressively reduce their greenhouse gas emissions to reach net-zero by 2050.
Only 5% of Boston’s buildings account for nearly 40% of our city’s carbon emissions. BERDO is the highest-impact emissions reduction tool in Boston to reduce greenhouse emissions and meet our climate action goals.
