A native of the Northwest, Richard began working as a hot glass sculptor at Pilchuck Glass School in 1978 and went on to work for several years as one of Dale Chihuly’s main gaffers. Since emerging as an independent artist in the 1980s, Richard has built an internationally recognized career creating large-scale glass sculpture, with his work included in museum collections across the U.S. and internationally.
Come watch Richard work in the hot shop and see his sculptural approach to glass up close!
