Beer and cheese have a long shared history. Both are built on fermentation, both take on the character of the place they're made, and both change a little with every season.
This October, we're welcoming beer expert David Phillips to Caprae for our first dinner together. The Caprae team is building four courses around Prairie Fruits Farm cheese and cheese from our partner farms. David has chosen a craft beer for each course and will talk guests through every pairing as the evening unfolds.
David leads beer and cheese pairing events throughout the Chicago area and serves on the board of the Chicago Beer Society. He's also a veteran cheese industry writer, a former daily newspaper reporter, an American Cheese Society Certified Cheese Professional, and a Cheese State University Cheese Scholar.
$75 per person, four courses with beer pairings included
