Plymouth has a history of bringing dancers together.
For years, Battle Stations was THE monthly jam for the Plymouth Breakin’ & Hip Hop community. It gave the next generation a place to battle during the day, while the adults took over the floor at night.
But it was about more than just dancing.
There were Graffiti Battles, MC Battles, Bake Offs and dancers travelling from across Devon & Cornwall, and beyond to be part of it.
That spirit is one of the inspirations behind our brand-new event…
🥊BATTLE ZONE🥊
Our first instalment is focused on giving the younger and less experienced generation of dancers around Plymouth a place to battle, gain experience, meet other dancers and build confidence.
The goal is simple:
GROW OUR LOCAL SCENE. ❤️🔥
We want to create a space where dancers can come together, battle, support each other, develop their skills and help create the next generation of Plymouth dancers.
And this is just the beginning…
BATTLE ZONE WILL EVOLVE.
As the event grows, so will the styles, activities and opportunities. We're not looking to make Battle Zone just another dance battle, we want it to become a community jam that brings different parts of Hip Hop and street culture together.
More dance styles will be introduced as we grow, and who knows…
👀We might even bring back the Bake Off!🍰🔥
And we're keeping it local from the ground up.

And here's the important part…
Every penny raised from Battle Zone will be invested back into growing our local scene and helping us build towards a bigger event in the future.
We're not just putting on a battle.
We're trying to build something.
Something for the young dancers coming through.
Something for the dancers who want somewhere to test themselves.
Something that brings our community together.
Something that can grow.
Something that dancers from Plymouth, Devon, Cornwall and beyond can feel part of.
Battle Stations helped create memories and opportunities for a generation of dancers.
Now it's time to create something for the next generation.
🔥 BATTLE ZONE #1🔥
Come battle. Come support. Come be part of the beginning.
THIS IS OUR SCENE. THIS IS OUR FUTURE. 🥊❤️🔥
