We are pleased to support the Balkan Breast Imaging Masterclass 2026, taking place on October 31 at The Plaza Hotel in Tirana.Organised by the Albanian Society of Breast Imaging (ALSOBI) led by of Assoc. Prof. Iris Allajbeu, in collaboration with the European Society of Breast Imaging (EUSOBI), the Masterclass will bring together breast imaging experts from across Europe and the Balkans.
The program will explore key areas of contemporary breast imaging, including risk-adapted screening, contrast-enhanced mammography (CEM) versus MRI, image-guided procedures, breast cancer staging, BI-RADS updates, and the organisation of one-stop breast clinics.
There will also be interactive case-based workshops, a multidisciplinary tumour board discussion, and a roundtable discussion on “Bridging Breast Imaging Gaps: Balkans and Beyond”.
The international and regional faculty includes Alexandra Athanasiou, Thiemo Van Nijnatten, Gordana Ivanac, Fleur Kilburn-Toppin, Gul Esen, James Tanner, and Iris Allajbeu, alongside local radiologists and clinicians.
