Celebrate colour, creativity, and a little holiday magic! Discover the art and science of glass fusing in this festive, hands-on workshop, where brilliant colours and playful embellishments come together to create a seasonal garden or planter stake.Participants will learn safe glass-handling techniques while following a provided pattern to create an 8-inch square fused glass panel featuring festive holiday motifs. Working with 96 COE compatible glass and decorative accessories, participants will explore layering, texture, and the transformation that takes place during kiln firing.
Add a little extra sparkle with colourful frit, pulled glass stringers, and the eye-catching shimmer of dichroic glass. Once kiln-fired, the finished panel will be mounted on a painted metal stake, ready to brighten a garden or favourite planter.
All project materials and kiln firings are included.
When: Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 10 am to 4 pm
Fee: $225 + HST (includes all project materials and kiln firings)
Beginners are welcome.
