About this Event
There are moments in life when we feel powerless.
We may meet limitations, expectations, comparison, disappointment, or situations we cannot control. Sometimes, when we feel we have not met what the world expects from us — or what we expect from ourselves — something deeper can be touched inside.
A quiet belief may appear:
“I am not good enough.”
“I am useless.”
“I have to prove myself.”
“I need to become more in order to be loved.”
In this third session of Artist Within, we will gently explore the theme of Inner Power.
This is not about forcing ourselves to be strong. It is an invitation to notice where powerlessness lives in the body, to see what old belief may be hidden underneath it, and to begin reconnecting with a deeper sense of self-worth.
Through guided meditation, intuitive drawing, reflective writing and a gentle releasing practice, we will explore how an old feeling can be seen, expressed and softened through creative art.
This workshop invites you to move from:
powerlessness to inner strength
self-doubt to self-worth
the need to prove yourself to the quiet strength of being
You do not need to prove your worth.
Your existence itself carries power.
You are allowed to be held by love.
What You May Experience
This workshop will guide you through meditation, creative art, reflective writing and gentle emotional release.
You will be invited to listen to the body, follow images and feelings as they arise, and explore what inner power may mean beyond proving, performing or trying to be strong.
No drawing experience is needed. The focus is not on making “good art”, but on using art as a doorway into self-awareness, emotional release and inner connection.
This is a space to slow down, listen inwardly, and allow what has been hidden or held inside to be gently seen.

About Artist Within
Artist Within is a gentle creative wellbeing series inspired by The Artist’s Way and adapted through somatic art practices, guided drawing, reflective writing and emotional awareness.
Each session explores an inner quality through art.
Session 1 explored Courage — moving from fear into a safe beginning.
Session 2 explored Identity — allowing hidden parts of the self to be seen.
Session 3 explores Inner Power — moving from powerlessness towards the strength of being.
Important Note
This is a facilitator-led creative wellbeing workshop. It is not clinical therapy, counselling, diagnosis or a replacement for professional mental health support.
You are welcome to move at your own pace. Sharing is always optional, and you only need to share what feels comfortable.
What To Bring
All art materials will be provided.
You may wish to bring a bottle of water and little snacks.
No previous art experience is required.
