Northern Lakes Arts Association is casting six adult actors for *Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!)*, a fast, ridiculous 90-minute comedy that attempts to cram every Christmas story, movie, carol, tradition, and character into one show.
THE CAST
We’re forming two casts of three. All roles are open to actors 18+ of any gender.
Each actor plays multiple characters, with three basic energies:
The Traditionalist: Grounded, committed, and desperately trying to keep the show on track.
The Enthusiast: Playful, physical, wholehearted, and ready to jump into anything.
The Instigator:* Quick, mischievous, confident, and happy to create a little chaos.
These are starting points. We want to see what you bring.

There’s no singing audition, but this show uses the same skills we look for in our musicals: character, physicality, timing, storytelling, ensemble work, and bold choices.
No previous play experience required.
WHAT TO PREPARE
Nothing.
No song. No monologue. No headshot.
We’ll read scenes, explore characters, do some improv and movement, and try different actor combinations.

Performance assignments for each cast will be determined after casting.
REHEARSALS
Typically Sunday–Thursday, 6–9 PM. The final schedule will be developed around cast availability. Please bring all known conflicts to auditions.
