About this Event
This is the launch event for the Attainable Arts CIC, a new non-profit dedicated to supporting emerging artists through accessible exhibition opportunities and affordable studio spaces.
Attainable Art Show
Proudly sponsored by Arts Council England, The Hottinger Group, and Freeths.
Four days of affordable contemporary art from 40 emerging artists. Every work is priced at £1,000 or less. It’s a place to buy your first piece of original art, or simply see what early-career artists are making in London right now, or even find the next big thing!
Original work across painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking and mixed media.
Why we do it
The show is the flagship event of Attainable Arts CIC and grows out of three editions of the (Actually) Attainable Art Fair. We want contemporary art to feel within reach for new buyers, and we want emerging artists to have a real platform to sell and be seen. Artists take no exhibition fees, and 30% of every sale is reinvested into our non profit structure, including subsidised studio space for early-career artists in London.
The artists
All 40 artists were selected through an open call judged by Katherine Benson (Exhibition Programming Manager, Saatchi Gallery), Karl Murphy (Head of Young People’s Programmes, British Museum), and Charlie Pannell (Director of ST.ART Gallery). The programme also includes a one-year subsidised studio bursary, a £1,000 Hottinger Group Purchase Prize, a £3,000 Study Bursary, mentoring and professional development workshops.
