ASIST Training Workshop – November 2026
Join us for a two-day, in-person Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) workshop designed to build the skills and confidence to recognize and respond to individuals experiencing thoughts of suicide.
Dates: Thursday, November 12 – Friday, November 13, 2026
Time: 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. both days
Location: Marina Village Conference Center
What You’ll Learn
Participants will learn how to:
- Recognize signs of suicide risk
- Listen effectively and ask appropriate questions
- Assess suicide risk and intervene
- Develop safety plans
- Connect individuals to appropriate resources
- Build confidence in providing suicide first aid
The workshop includes presentations, group discussions, and hands-on simulations led by four experienced ASIST trainers.
Who Should Attend?
ASIST is appropriate for mental and behavioral health professionals, healthcare and social service providers, educators, community leaders, nonprofit professionals, first responders, and community members.
Registration
$20 deposit required. The deposit will be reimbursed after the training only if you attend both full days, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Limit: 2 participants per agency.
A $3.50 non-refundable service and processing fee applies.
