Meet us at the art table.
Art Club is a monthly Friday-night creative gathering at Two Best Friends Café & Books led by illustrator and teaching artist Janique Crenshaw.
Each month, we'll explore a different theme, project, or medium; from watercolor and acrylic markers to mixed-media crafts and whatever else gives us a good excuse to make something together.
This isn't art school, and you don't have to consider yourself an artist. Art Club is designed to be approachable, social, and beginner-friendly.
October: Watercolor Cartoon Villains 😈🎨
We're kicking off Art Club with the animated troublemakers we love to hate.
We're painting cartoon villains with Janique for a fun, beginner-friendly evening exploring watercolor. Whether you paint all the time or haven't touched watercolor since grade school, you're welcome at the table.
Your $15 ticket includes:
- Guided Art Club experience with Janique
- All supplies needed for the evening
- One complimentary coffee, tea, or glass of wine

Meet Janique
Janique Crenshaw is an illustrator and teaching artist with a B.F.A. in Illustration from SCAD. Inspired by art nouveau, anime, music, and the world around her, Janique works across multiple mediums and brings an approachable philosophy to her workshops: creativity doesn't have to be perfect to be worth exploring.
Her workshops encourage people to experiment, loosen up, trust their creativity, and have fun making something of their own.

In November, we're slowing things down with Fall Flowers, a seasonal Art Club inspired by autumn florals, foliage, and color.
Come alone. Bring a best friend. Bring absolutely no artistic ability.
