This event blends elements of a car rally, history tour, scavenger hunt and photoshoot which all together promise to take you on wild, fun-filled four km. romp through Merrickville. Walk, bike or drive the route. You choose!Entry fee: $25 per person. Teams can consist of 2 - 6 people. Children 12 and under, free. Teams must be ready to sign in and receive their clue sheets at 1 pm at the library. And they must be at the Legion and have their clue sheets tallied by 3:30 pm, when winners will be announced. There will be an assortment of sweet and savoury snacks and a cash bar. Prizes include two $100 restaurant gift certificates to the Goose and Gridiron and the Baldachin Inn to the 1st place and best-costumed teams, a $100 Rowland Leather gift certificate to the Best-Costume Individual Team Member plus gift certificates to the Village Bean, The Iron Forge, and the Yellow Canoe. Plus, more! Imagine finishing the Adventure Hunt and saying, “We won — now let’s go celebrate together!”
