About this Event
APOLLO5 at Iowa State University
with Iowa State Singers at Memorial Union, Great Hall
Hear APOLLO5 in concert on Tuesday, November 10, at 7:30 p.m. in Iowa State University Memorial Union's historic Great Hall. APOLLO5 is one of Britain’s most dynamic small vocal ensembles, renowned for its ability to connect intimately with audiences while producing a rich, vibrant and versatile sound. The critically acclaimed a cappella quintet brings together a soprano, mezzo‑soprano, two tenors and a bass. Five incredible voices sing five centuries of music: Renaissance and classical repertoire, folk traditions, jazz and pop.
Iowa State Singers will join APOLLO5 for selected pieces in the concert. All students are admitted free with student ID courtesy of a grant from ISU's Lecture Programs.
