Bring the kids for an evening of free science fair fun!Science with Cyclones is a free public event where kids can learn about science in interactive ways. Inspired by Alan Alda's Flame Challenge, groups of college-aged science communicators have been tasked with creating trifolds and interactive activities to explore science concepts for a target age range of 8-11 years old.
Science with Cyclones will involve about 20 different displays to explore–on topics from geckos and gravity to disease prevention and whether you can outrun a T-Rex. There will be stickers and Cy will be there to meet the kids!
Free and open to the public!
This event is co-hosted by Reiman Gardens and the Iowa State University English Department.
