About this Event
Missing Middle is a range of multi-unit or clustered housing types compatible in design and scale with single-family homes. Well-designed examples of these housing types often blend in seamlessly with their surroundings. Preserving and creating missing middle housing is challenging, yet critical to meeting the growing demand for walkable urban living for smaller households within established neighborhoods.
Wear your comfortable walking shoes as we explore real examples of missing middle housing in the Tampa Heights neighborhood. We will discuss how this supports housing affordability, compatibility and enlightened neighborhood design. The tour covers exteriors only.
We will begin and end at Lee's Grocery and pizza and refreshments will be provided after the tour courtesy of Versaggi Management.
Developed in collaboration with AARP Florida & The Florida Chapter of the Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU).
