The World Federation of Free Latvians (PBLA) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia are pleased to invite you to save the date for a special event exploring opportunities for strengthening cooperation between Australia and Latvia and unlocking new opportunities for engagement with the thriving digital and innovation ecosystem in Latvia.🗓️ Friday, 6 November 2026, 10:00am – 7:00pm.
The event will be held in English during the first part of the day, followed by a buffet lunch and reception at 12:20pm. The afternoon program will continue in Latvian.

The program will feature presentations from the Bank of Latvia on the latest economic developments and opportunities for international cooperation, alongside insights from the Latvian Information Technology Cluster, representing Latvia's leading digital companies. The event will also showcase success stories from Latvian and Australian entrepreneurs and investors who have strengthened business ties between the two countries.
The event is held within the framework of "Latvia in Focus", a conference organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, the World Federation of Free Latvians, the State Employment Agency of Latvia, and the Latvian Federation of Australia and New Zealand. The initiative aims to strengthen economic and professional ties between Latvia and Australia while creating new opportunities for business and innovation.
Whether you are looking to expand into Europe, identify new partners in the tech sector or explore investment opportunities, this event will provide a unique opportunity for connecting with key stakeholders from Latvia's innovation economy.

Pasaules brīvo latviešu apvienība (PBLA) un Latvijas Republikas Ārlietu ministrija aicina diasporas uzņēmējus, profesionāļus un diasporas organizāciju pārstāvjus piedalīties forumā “Latvija fokusā”, kas plānots 2026. gada 6. novembrī Melburnā, Austrālijā.
🗓️ 2026. gada 6. novembris, no plkst. 10.00 līdz 19.00
Dienas pirmajā daļā pasākums norisināsies angļu valodā, bet plkst. 12.20 sekos pusdienas un pieņemšana. Pēcpusdienas programma turpināsies latviešu valodā.

Pasākumā latviešu uzņēmējiem, dažādu nozaru profesionāļiem, studentiem un citiem aktīviem diasporas pārstāvjiem Austrālijā būs iespēja saņemt jaunāko informāciju par ģeopolitikas un ekonomikas aktualitātēm Latvijā, kā arī piedalīties diskusijās ar uzņēmējiem un diasporas politikas veidotājiem no Latvijas, lai veicinātu uzņēmēju un diasporas sadarbību Latvijā un ārpus tās.
Pasākumu rīko Pasaules brīvo latviešu apvienība sadarbībā ar Latvijas Republikas Ārlietu ministriju, Latvijas Republikas vēstniecību Austrālijas Savienībā, Latvijas Investīciju un attīstības aģentūru, Nodarbinātības Valsts aģentūru un Latviešu apvienību Austrālijā un Jaunzēlandē.
