"This recital brings together three pieces that each take us on a different journey. Prokofiev’s Sonata for Two Violins is energetic, playful and full of conversation between the two violins. Szymanowski’s Myths takes us into a strange and beautiful world of ancient stories and imagination. Finally, Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending seems to leave the ground altogether, following a lark as it rises into the sky." — Hannah TyrrellSergei PROKOFIEV Sonata for Two Violins in C Major, op. 56
