On 26 October, Bio Rex at Lasipalatsi in Helsinki becomes a meeting place for the 2026 edition of the Nordic Council Prizes. During the evening, we get to know the winning works and the people behind them. The five winners will be announced a week prior to the event.
Join us for inspiring conversations about literature, children’s and young people’s literature, film, environment and music, as we explore the winning works throughout the evening.
The programme is in English, and the event is hosted by dancer, author and actor Jani Toivola.
To round off the evening, you can watch the winning film on Bio Rex’s big screen.
The event is free of charge, but we kindly ask you to register in advance so that we can help avoid food waste. Please register via the link below and have your booking confirmation ready when you arrive.

The winners of the 2026 Nordic Council Prizes will be announced on 20 October.
The event is organised by the official Nordic co-operation in collaboration with the Amos Anderson Fund.
