WBEZ and University Club of Chicago present an evening with the New York Times best-selling author of “Moneyball,” “The Big Short” and “Liar's Poker,” Michael Lewis.
This event marks the release of Lewis's latest book, “Blockers: Rebels in the Deep State,” an inside look at the early days of Trump's Department of Government Efficiency, told through the eyes of seven public servants targeted by it. Lewis will discuss his reporting process, the story behind the book and what happens when the people who kept the government running are pushed out for refusing to get out of the way.
