About this Event
An Evening of Songs & Stories with Mitch Szitas, Alexandra Babiak & Edward Sayers
Join Toronto-area singer-songwriters Mitch Szitas, Alexandra Babiak, and Edward Sayers for an intimate evening of acoustic music, thoughtful lyrics, and stories told through song.
Together, the three songwriters offer a night centred on what acoustic music does best: bringing an audience close to the songs, the stories behind them, and the people who wrote them.
7:00pm | $15
Edward Sayers is a modern folk singer whose intricate, fast-moving fingerpicked guitar and observant lyrics capture the experience of living in a complicated time. A longtime performer in Toronto, Edward has also brought his music to audiences across Canada's East Coast and the UK.
Rooted in folk and singer-songwriter traditions, each artist brings a distinct voice to the stage. Mitch Szitas pairs warm vocals, memorable guitar lines, and smooth harmonies with deeply personal storytelling. His debut EP, Moniker, is a heartfelt collection of songs reflecting on the past and the person he once was.
Toronto singer-songwriter Alexandra Babiak crafts evocative folk-pop shaped by themes of love, loss, memory, and self-discovery. With a soulful voice and intimate acoustic arrangements, her songs find beauty in vulnerability and the complicated ways we make sense of our lives. Her second album, Magical Thinking, showcases her deeply personal and emotionally resonant approach to songwriting.
