Winter Camp is an excellent training experience for our own dojo students and for guests from other associations and other arts who wish to join in some intensive Aikido training, regardless of style; it is instructed by Nimz Sensei, yondan (4th degree black belt). Our students who are 10 and younger in the kids curriculum who have not earned at least an orange belt are allowed to participate, but they must first obtain instructor permission and may be asked to only attend limited portions of camp. Anyone may attend any session they want and get benefits from the training, but the camp does progress over the week, so attending back to back sessions may yield better results.This camp will be focusing on techniques and applications outside of our own association's typical curriculum or coverage; beyond techniques and weapons works that our instructor has learned in other associations or when training abroad, we also intend to work some a-typical applications (such as Aikido from side-kick).
The suggested camp fee is $20 per half day, $30 per whole day or $100 for the whole camp, but anyone may pay less (including $0) for any reason; it is our wish that anyone who is not attending due to finances absolutely come anyway and pay $0. People can also potentially stay in Nimz Sensei's basement for free with advance notice if space is still available.

Pre-Camp (If you come early for camp and wish to warm up, you can attend our usual Weds Dec 30 6:15-7:15PM class and our Thursday Dec 31st 8:15-9:45AM morning class for free)
