African Renaissance 2026 — Toronto Closing Ceremony
African Renaissance Month 2026 is a national multi-city initiative hosted by Africa 6th Region Global (A6RG) and ECASR, bringing together leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, diplomats, students, and community members from across the African and Caribbean diaspora.
Running from May 13–30, 2026, African Renaissance Month spans 18 days across 7 cities, creating a platform for dialogue, culture, business, diplomacy, networking, investment, and diaspora collaboration.
Throughout the month, programming across Canada will include:

The official Toronto Closing Ceremony on May 30, 2026 is hosted by Young Diaspora Professionals (YDP), the youth and young adults division of Africa 6th Region Global (A6RG), with a specific focus on spotlighting youth, young professionals, entrepreneurship, collaboration, leadership, and diaspora engagement.
