About this Event
Marc Nair, a poet from Singapore, has published 11 collections of poetry and has been featured in numerous anthologies, both print and online. A seasoned poetry slammer, he has performed spoken word for over ten years in more than ten countries and has represented Singapore in international poetry slam competitions.
In this creative writing workshop, Marc will teach participants what makes an IG poem stand out and how to use a playful blend of words, visuals, and emotion.
Together, we’ll break down the form, dive into inspiring examples, and uncover how poets are transforming social media into a canvas for storytelling.
You’ll get the chance to craft your own Instagram‑style poems, experimenting with text to create special pieces. Share your work, get inspired by others, and leave with fresh ways to bring poetry into the digital age.
Register for a reminder.
Drop-ins welcome.
