Experience the ultimate mountain biking adventure around Tórshavn with a certified MTB instructor as your guide. This extended tour takes you deeper into the valleys and hills surrounding the capital, combining scenic landscapes, fun trails and unique local riding routes. We start from the city centre and cycle past the coastline before reaching small paths that lead into the hills southwest of Tórshavn. Soon the city disappears behind us as we enter a beautiful valley where streams, grassy slopes and winding trails create perfect terrain for mountain biking.
Following a network of local trails, we explore different sections of the valley and surrounding hills. Along the way your guide — a certified mountain bike instructor — shares local knowledge, riding techniques and the best trails around Tórshavn.
The tour continues along scenic hillside paths and old horse trails offering panoramic views over the capital and the surrounding fjords.
After an active and rewarding ride, we return to Tórshavn with great memories from one of the best mountain biking areas near the city (smiling and with some dirt on our clothes).
The mountain biking adventure tour starts at Rent a Bike & Outdoor, Sverrisgøta 20, Torshavn.
Price incl. rental of a mountain bike, helmet, water bottles and an energy bar. Local guide incl. All taxes incl.
