Nov. 8 will discuss Just War Theory, which arose after the church shared the power of the state. Theologians reached consensus
on proper reasons to go to war and on the right ways to conduct warfare.
Nov. 15 will look at two 20th century theories
that arose in the U.S., Christian Realism and Just Peacemaking. On Nov. 22, the war with Iran as a case study for applying these principles will be discussed. All are invited, and you do not have to attend all four sessions.
