Join us for the launch of Autotopia, the final installment in Adam Green’s unofficial graphic novel trilogy!About this Event
Join us for the launch of Autotopia, the final installment in Adam Green’s unofficial graphic novel trilogy! The story of Hanukkah is reborn as a metaphysical tech-satire, where ketamine mysticism collides with crypto and fetish inside a simulated New Amsterdam. Greenster — Green’s longtime alter ego — enters a VR metaverse overtaken by Antiochis, a tyrannical businesswoman overlord, and joins a rebel tribe of Ketamites led by Rabbi Bagelheart. Reuniting fan-favorite characters from Adam Green’s Aladdin, including Ms. President and Farmer Dave, Autotopia is both a delirious sequel and spiritual reboot - culminating in a symbolic rededication of temple, marriage, and the stories we tell ourselves. Illustrated by Tom Bayne, Toby Goodshank, and Green himself, and edited by Yasmin Green, this epic tale weaves together poetic and humorous psychedelia, human love, and Green’s mythological “Houseface” universe.
This special launch event will feature Adam, Tom, and Toby in a Q&A with attendees. Books will be for sale at the event, with all authors signing books following the talk.
