Musical Style: Big Band, modern big band, swing, Afro Cuban, funkThis 21-piece big band featuring some of Colorado's finest players is excited to present its 12th annual holiday show at Dazzle. The show is a celebration of the group's 3rd release, a live album recorded at the Mercury Cafe in 2024 and 2025. The band plays original compositions and arrangements in a broad diversity of styles, including swing, Afro-Cuban, and hip hop. The Republic's first studio release Grass Is Greener is available on Dazzle Recordings and its second release, Live at the Mercury Cafe is available here.
