Abstract Close-Up and Macro Photography Workshop
Discover the art of capturing the extraordinary within the ordinary in this 3-hour hands-on workshop. Learn how to transform everyday objects into artistic and abstract images through the lens of close-up and macro photography.
Besides the creative aspect of this workshop, you will also learn how to build your own, low cost effective Macro setup for your own DSLR or mirrorless camera by adapting vintage lenses.
Equipment Provided: Cameras and lenses will be supplied—all you need to bring is your imagination and a notebook for notes. Feel free to bring small props (excluding insects) for your photos.

About the tutor:This workshop will be led by Kevin, a part time UAL tutor and a digital artist and photographer with expertise in street, architectural, and found object photography. Over the winter, Kevin shifted his focus to indoor photography, creating a captivating series using found household objects and a simple DSLR setup. Now, he’s excited to share the joy and creativity of this unique photography style.
